Hedy Ward (b. 2001, Albuquerque, New Mexico) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Baltimore, Maryland. She recieved her BFA in General Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2024, where she majored in General Fine Arts and minored in Culture and Politics. Her work explores materiality and object relations, resulting in the use of a wide range of media. Wax, steel, oil paint, ceramics, small metals and gems, and found and ready-made objects can all be found on works. Thematically, she is interested in semiotics, visual history, and the relationship between cultural media and individual experience.
